Tango Cyprus Tango Studio

Tango Cyprus Tango Studio is the only dance school which specialized on tango in our country. We have started with workshops in Famagusta and Nicosia with Aydoğan – Şule Arkış from Istanbul-El Encuentro on November 2003 and we still teach tango dancing.

Our main instructors Pembe Gaziler & Mustafa Elmas and assistants Abbas Elmas, Nazlı Soykan, Salih Gürün, Rezan F. Yamacı, Göksan Yamacı, Ertem Nalbantoğlu are intensively working on teaching and dancing night organizations in North and South Cyprus. They also bring dance instructors from abroad and organize courses and shows.

They perform tango dancing on our activities. Latterly, they performed dancing in South Cyprus at the Argentinean soldiers’ affiliate Compo San-Martin in February 2006 and the International Famagusta Culture and Art Festival.

Furthermore, our tango orchestra ‘Orquesta el Mediterraneo’ which is formed by our school members, is prosecuting activities parallel to the school activities.
